Who Pays?
Charlotte County
In Charlotte County, it is customary for the seller to pay for the owner's title insurance policy. It is also traditionally the seller's responsibility to pay the costs associated with the loan on a house (also known as "prorations") in Charlotte County.
Collier County
In Collier County, it is customary for the buyer to pay for the owner's title insurance policy. It is also traditionally the buyer's responsibility to pay the costs associated with the loan on a house (also known as "prorations") in Collier County.
Lee County
In Lee County, it is customary for the seller to pay for the owner's title insurance policy. It is also traditionally the sellerr's responsibility to pay the costs associated with the loan on a house (also known as "prorations") in Lee County.
